Beef Lasagna

🍽 Ingredients

250 g lasagna noodles
500 g ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
400 g tomato sauce
200 g Pizza Cheese Edam Milky Food, grated
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Herbs de Provence (optional, for seasoning)

👨‍🍳 Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned and no longer pink.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for a few minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs de Provence to taste.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
  6. Layer lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by another layer of meat sauce.
  7. Sprinkle a generous amount of Pizza Cheese Edam Milky Food over the meat sauce.
  8. Repeat layers of lasagna noodles, meat sauce, and cheese until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
  9. Cover the lasagna dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 30-40 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and the noodles are cooked through.
  11. Let the lasagna rest for a few minutes before cutting and serving hot. Enjoy!
