Mozzarella and Vegetable Omelette

🍽 Ingredients

4 eggs
100 g Milky Food mozzarella, cut into cubes
1 tomato, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil

👨‍🍳 Preparation

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the vegetables (tomato, pepper, onion) to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes until tender.
  4. Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet over the vegetables.
  5. Cook the omelet for a few minutes until the edges are set.
  6. Add the mozzarella cubes to one half of the omelet.
  7. Fold the other half of the omelet over the mozzarella and cook for a few more minutes until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot and garnish with a few fresh basil leaves if desired.
